NORWAY ROCKS

Hello! great day today. Today we all took boats out and jumped on a Water trampoline, and then came back and played cards. We are in a camp type place with cabins and such, but formally nothing to do. It is beautiful here- all the time, but especially today. You know how if you google Some place you only get the best pictures? well, every picture you get when you google Norway is True. It is breezy and cool and Sunny today. Wonderful!

got to go- time for lamb and potatoes.

Great to hear that you are gettin into the groove of things. Things are pretty nice here at home as well. Finally cooling off a little, but still hot enough to avoid the Vic at all costs! LOL. Nice to have somethin else to drive that actually has AC. I've been ridin WL a lot in the past 24 hrs, now that its so much nicer outside. I may go tell your ponies hello some time this week. Maybe take them some carrots or somethin. Anyways, have fun and talk to ya later

Hey, Sarahbear. This is JoAnn because Hannah's out and I'm not tech-savvy enough to figure out how to post under my own name. Norway looks breathtaking. Billy, who's been there, says the mosquitoes are as well. They are here, too. We're all covered in bites. Why don't they bite dogs and leave welts on their bare tummies? Well, pizza's coming out of oven, it's Friday night, we miss your shining face in the Piedmont, but we know this is a wonderful adventure for you. And COLD AT NIGHT sounds ab-fab! xxxxx, joa

Hi, Sarah: Wish I could use this space without taking 20 min. to do new password every time! I'm thinking e-mail is simpler. Little boys in pointy hats and white robes make a transplanted Southerner nervous and Santa Lucia looks as though she's already been martyred. The snow and snow candles are beautiful though. So glad you got the robe. Also makes me nervous when I can't insure packages. Belle and I were going to ride in Elmwood Christmas parade tomorrow but it's supposed to be rainy and chilly (probably a wet heat wave in Norway) so I may skip it. Did have some beautiful fashion accessories for her, though, and Hannah was going to make her a purple and gold ribboned headband. I got Sprenger stirrups at consignment shop for my Christmas -- $55 for 3 when a pair is about $200 new. Kwazy. All the little girls in pony club have them (new, of course) when they're really for old ladies with stiff knees and hips. Got your postcard yesterday. Love the little red gnome. Also got a Christmas cold which blows. Would love to be out playing in the snow instead. However, we have not once turned on furnace this year. Too darn warm. Ho-ho-ho and good yule to yourself. xxxooo, joann
